Stock Muffler Tip Removal

Does anyone know if the stock muffler tip can be removed, and if so, how? It doesn't seem to have any screws or welds. My sig has a pic.

Also, just got my y-pipe installed. The only issue so far is a light rattle when I accelerate after a full stop. I seems like it is coming from a location underneath the center console area. My guest at the moment is the bracket holding the CAT. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

They just slip on, some are really tight, others I have taken off just by twisting by hand and pulling.

Ill try that out, i wanna replace mine with a chrome tipped one. Closest thing to looking like having an aftermarket muffler, without the annoyance it causes...

I wrestled mine off with a pair of pliers as well as a hammer. It just takes a little patience and a lot of persistence.

Use a hammer. If you want it to look like an authentic muffler, use a sawzall to saw off about 3 inches of the small skinny pipe so you wont see it through the tip. (I did this and my tip is about 4 inches.)

I like that tip, will have to get me one. Got the thing off with a little sweat and patience. Installed another one till I get me a larger rounded tip.

5 pound sledge hammer. Make some relief cuts with a 32 tooth hacksaw first.

do you guys think the muffler tips at autozone with the holes around the edge look ricey??? (for those who know wat im talkin about) At WOT, they make an air blowing sound (not a rice farting sound) and only does this at WOT.
