i aded a midpipe off ebay to my K&N cone filter... eveything works fine and the car sounds great except for the extra loud hissing noise coming from the filter... it was noticeable before i added the midpipe but now i i can here it about 5 feet away with thehood closed.. it runs great but is this a problem?? any input would be appreciated. thanks

no i am just talking about a very loud hiss more than just my pop charger, i can hear it a t low speeds. i know some hissing is normal but with the addittion of the midpipe it sounds twice as lo0ud in park. someone told me that i nmay have a leak, but i check everything. i know i hooked it up correct. it sounds like a loud vaccum from the cone intake

i know im being a pain in the a$$, but 1 more question... when i compare my 96 max with a midpipe and K&N, to my friends 98 max with midpipe and monsterflow filter... his is now where near as loud hissing compared to mine... some one told me that the monsterflow is more insulated thats why the hiss is reduced.. is this true and will it effect my car?? thanks
