Got my 2001 AE wheels! Pics!

After the server transfer, my post about my new wheels wasn't moved over and I wanted to see what people said. So I'm reposting.

I finally got my AE wheels! I bought them from Max4Speed (Thanks Ossamah). I think they're awesome and I'm happy with them.

I also do have a question for anybody who has AE wheels (or anyone who just might know anyways)...

I don't really like how the center caps of the wheels are so much darker than the wheels... you can't see it so much in the pics, but they are. Is there any color and brand of paint I can/should use to paint over the caps to try and match them to the wheels, or would I be better off just leaving them alone?

Here are the pics (there are a few more on page 7 of my homepage)

Looks nice dude, except for the center caps. I was going to get AE SE rims too, but the caps threw me off. I'll just get regular 2k+ SE rims. Looks nice though.

I think the caps are supposed to look lke that. There's an AE by my house and they look the same as yours.

Yea, they're just polished, but when the sun hits them, they do almost look chrome. Now I'm having second thoughts about getting rid of my chrome door handles... they go better with my wheels now

did i read right?? 205-50-17s?!??! OR did you mean 225s?!? 205s are very small tires for 17s and they would look like rubberbands, which those tires dont..

On the AE wheels, I am pretty sure it's 225.

No, the side of the tires say 205/50ZR17. That's the size that was on them when I got 'em.
