Adding More Power and Style

I have a 95 Maxima (5 Speed. My Dad purchased it off the show room floor, back in 94-95. Im 16 now, and I want to add more HP. And better looks. I was looking arround at custom Maxima and wanted to know if its worth it to get a Y Pipe and a Greddy Exaust system.... ???? I dont want it to sound too incredibly riceey, rather sound powerful with authority. I was also wondering if i needed a Cat. Converter? They dont seem like they are worth it... But I could be wrong... My future plans for my Maxima is to add my exuast, intake, pully's, rims, springs (drop it a little), and I'll go from there. The Maxima is currently stock exept for my Pioneer Headunit and 10" subs in the back. (Had to work to get the subs to hit because of the Bose in it) Any help would be great!

Y-pipe = best bang for the buck......so definitely get it. greddy is nice, i have it, but there are others out there. obx is cheaper and some prefer it over greddy.

Hhahahah, I laugh EVERYTIME i see Drew Plug his site...
But man, its a good site and keep up the good work..
Image, I really do recommend you go to Drew's site...
It will tell you the Pro's and Con's of all the different brands of Y-pipes, exhausts etc...
Good luck, and it makes me proud to see a n00b who already knows so much
i look forward to seeing more of your posts
