Dealership lettering

How do you remove the lettering from the Dealership? I plan on debadging it, and if I do that, I want to take the lettering off and have a very clean look on my car. Anyone have advice, or a link?

I work as a detailer at a car dealership and deal with this on a daily basis. If the lettering is just vinyl-like stick on letters, Use a power sprayer at close range, and dab any residue off with goo-gone or something comprable. If it is a stuck on plaque, use something hard and thin like a credit card to expose a corner. Grab this corner and SLOWLY and pull off the badge...it shouldn't hurt the paint if you work slowly.

This is like vinyl lettering. Very thin material. If I use a power sprayer, would that hurt the paint? I heard something about a heat gun. Would that be ok to use?

Ive never seen any paint damage as a result. Nissan has about the best paint of any car around anyway. A heat gun would probably be effective too, I just haven't tried it. If you do that im sure you could just slide the letters off with a cloth or something, and of course get the residue

Take it back to the dealer you got it from and tell them to take it off!

Go back to your dealer and give them these choices:

a) Pay you for advertising

b) Remove the advertising media
