Exhaust Manifold Problems

The guy told me its probably a leak in the exhaust manifold, but i'll know by 11:00 today. How much would that be to replace? apparently that is very common on 4th gen. maximas.

I have never heard of a leaking exhaust manifold.

Where is it leaking exactly?

well i'm leaving now for the exhaust place... wish me luck in that i don't have to pay an arm and a leg

If anything leaks it might be that a header gasket is blown. U must have done something very bad for the manifold itself to leak (like a crash or u live next to the sea up north where there's alot of salf and it corroded-gosh what an extreme). if they do tell u that it's the manifold, ask to c the spot of the leak, basically, make them prove it to u. I would b very skeptic about that. Good luck and let us know how it went down.
