Fluid level after break change?

Fluid level after break change?
I just changed my front pads and rotors, making sure to loosen the master cylinder cap...my question is do I need to somehow take more fluid out now after the break change to get the fluid level down below the 'max' line? Thanks,

Theoretically you should. That way it would be less likely to spill over or anything in the future (like if parked on an incline and you remove the cap). You can use a turkey baster, large syringe type thing, or vacuum pump. I've even seen people soak some up with paper towels, but be careful because brake fluid is an efficient paint remover.
Also, as long as the fluid is above the "min" line, there is no need to top it off. Reason being is that as the brake pads wear, the fluid level drops to take up the extra space that was used by the pads. If you top it off, when you change pads the next time, the fluid will be overfilled (like you have now).
