Tachometer Whoas and Possibly Pics?

Well, the more I read on a lot of people are having difficulties with their tachs not being responsive or jumping around here and there. I think the easiest solution would be to get an aux tach. The only concern I have would be how ricey it would look. Has anyone tried this and possibly has pics? I most likely will be doing this because I love tachs when they work properly. If anyone has any advice or pics, stuff like that, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
