hey i've seen a few maxima with sidemarkers on them. i've checked out http://www.autodynamic.com and they have good looking sidemarkers for a decnet price. does ne1 else know of a better place to get them?

my main question for this post is exactly what do i do to install the sidemarkers? those of you who have done this before please let me know. it seems pretty simple cover the place i'm drilling w/ masking tape and then drill the hole and use touch-up paint to prevent rust and install the sidemarker. is that basically hwo you do it?

also how does the sidemarker stay on your car?

thanks ahead of time

sidemarkers

It can get confusing if you call them sidemarkers, since the car has them already. It's more correct to call them 'turn-signal repeaters'. I paid a local shop to install them for me; I'm just lazy. Please don't wire them to stay on all the time when your headlights or parking lights are on. (civics!) They should just blink when your turn signals are on, or when you lock the car with the remote.

Sounds good, wire to the front turn signal, but I'm not 100% sure of that since I didn't do it myself. I paid $100 to have it done but now that seems a bit high.

Its real easy....just drill the big hole to fit it in your fender..connect the wires to you front signals. Then there are two screws that keep the side markers on the fender..$100 for installation is way too much..the whole process takes about 30 mins if you know what you are doing

Check my post here for other websites that sell sidemarkers:
https://maxima.org/forums/showthread...threadid=22623

There are two other places online beside autodynamic that have sidemarker... ahem "turn signal repeaters" for a decent price.
