Need help w/aftermarket spoiler install

I just received my pre-painted factory look-a-like spoiler from spoilers4less and the instructions are not written specifically for the Maxima. Couple of things I know I'm gonna have issues with are that there is not a pre-drilled hole for the LED wire in the spoiler. There are 6 threaded holes (2 on each side stanchion, and 1 on each center stanchion). There are also two indentions on each center stanchion so I'm guess they want you to drill a hole in the spoiler here for the LED wire? How in the world would you suggest I fish this LED wire through these two holes in this spoiler? I know this is stupid, but I have 5 locater strips and I really am not sure what the purpose of these things are and how to 'properly' use them. My instructions say I can use masking tape as well so I'm assuming a locater strip is nothing more than pre-cut strips of tape. One last question. I have a grommet to fit in the deck for wherever I feed the LED wire. Do I need to mount that at from the top of the deck down, or from the bottom of the deck going up? Yes, I know I'm an idiot, but my brain willl sometimes go crazy when I start to think about drilling holes in my car
