how to remove ash tray light??

just wondering how you get the ash tray light out and also the glove box light.. wanted to change them out but cant figure out how to get them out!!

Ash tray

You need to remove the trim around the shifter. If you are auto use a kitchen knife and GENTLY pop the tabs out from the back of the shift trim. 5 spd, im not sure how it works. Anyways, once you get that out, the ash tray is in there with I think just one philips screw. Undo that and the light is a small white fixture attached to the tray with a tiny philips screw. Take your time, it's not that difficult.

I've never investigated the glove box light.
