Almost blew up my max...?

Hello, I was driving my max today and I think I shifted from 3rd into 2nd instead of 4th, rpms were kinda high in 3rd so they hit 7kish when i misshifted. Then I smelled something burning and got scared and was about to cry The smell went away and the car was driving fine What was the buring smell? clutch...engine? I have just started learning stick and last week so I dont know much. Thanks.

well its not good to do that to ur car A LOT, but if u only do it once or twice its fine. the smell was prbly the engine heating up or something along those lines, nothing big, dont worry about it, my sister did it to her car plenty of times.

If he was in 5th and shifted to second and braked, he definately did not accelerate

I couldn't fix your brakes, so I made your horn louder

The smell is definately your clutch. Even though you have a rev limiter.... you may still blow your motor if you overrev. be careful.
