Flashing Airbag Light

My airbag light continuously flashes. Is the SRS defective, or is there a way to reset it ? Anyone have any ideas ?

Thanks

That fixed it. I paid $70 to a Nissan dealer to tell me that I needed an new control unit that cost $1700.

Thanks again to all !

Maxima forums save another max owner from a costly repair

I had the same issue with my 95, however, when i took it to the dealer they reset it for me for free. Sounds like you got a crappy dealer

I have two dealers in my area and both have a similar history with me. That is why I was suspect at what they told me.

This is exactly why I am going back to working on my cars myself, and forums like this are awesome. Hope I can help others as I've been helped so far.
