I've done the research on installment of this accessory and it seems to be a pretty simply process. MY real question would be then, if you have have a vehicle that is pre-wired for FOGs would the cost for what you need to complete instatlation be cheaper?

If anything could someone just tell me how 97 max fogs go for?

lower price, maybe. Ahh but if you have a Stock Gxe with auto (keep hoping on day I will go to my car and poof there is a 5 speed) your car is not prewired. I had the relay wires and the switch wires but not the fog lamp plugs. But if your car is prewired its a hour job. Basicaly screwing in screws and taking some out.

actually

yeah i think the GXE auto's w/ the Comfort and Conv package are the ones that are prewired for fogs.

Call up Courtesy and let them know. Just tell them you are pre-wired and from max.org and they will quote you the price.

C&C has remote trunk release, intermittent wipers, power drivers seat, cruise etc. If you have these, you have the prewire. If you don't YOU DON'T have the prewire. Then again, you could take the cardboard(?) protectors from under the engine and look up directly where fogs will go. The wires are taped up there with a gray piece of tape.
BTW, please, PLEASE use the search feature on the top of EVERY page. This has been discussed at least twenty times in the last two months. For install directions, go to http://www.seas.ucla.edu/%7Echeston/fogs/fogpg1.GIF.

Thanks for the info. I do have these items.

Sorry I didn't search, but I figured since the thread was already started why not just go ahead and ask. I ALWAYS search before starting a new thread.
