i got my y pipe and test pipe installed. now i got a cell and i was expecting to get one for the cat but im getting 0302 code which is your egr system which is in your y pipe if i remember corectly. did i get this code because i eleminated all the pre cats or because of the test pipe.or do u guys think it is somthin else.any help would be apriciated.thanx

 

I am not sure what caused it, but in my case with my 1995 SE, I had a y-pipe (thus eliminating pre-cats) and also a test pipe... and no check engine light at all (and no stored codes either). But I have heard of cases where people get CELs when they install the test pipe.

 

yea i thought i would definitily get one for the 02 sensor that would go in the cat but not the egr one. will this code effect proformance if i dont fix it cause i can definitly feel the difference with the y pipe.
