installed fogs to my gxe and they aren't flush with the bumper...

i've seen many other maxes with 95/96 fog lights and they look different than mine. i put them in yesterday. i cut the holes with a dremel and a box cutter. i'll get pics tomorrow if i remember to get batteries for my camera, but basically, my lights seem to be almost pointing down a little and half an inch if not more back from the bumper. are anyone elses like this or does anyone know how to remedy the situation?

my lights don't turn on either but i'll figure that out tomorrow too hopefully. i don't know why they're not cuz i spliced into a wire (from a harness in front of the battery just taped there that i was told about by another member) for the power. i also made a ground and have the stalk inside...so i'm not quite sure why they don't come on. i have the relay in there and the fuse is fine. i hear the relay click but don't seem to be getting power to them. i'll have to go home this weekend to use a voltmeter to make sure the wire is powered. blah

anyone wanna help with either of the problems??
