Apex or B&G???

Hi i'm about to drop my car with kyb shocks, not sure if i want agx or GR2's yet. But my supplier only has B&G springs or Apex. He says that B&G are about the same quality as Apex...

Any input on this guys? Which 1 should i get?

Thx

Are you sure? That's not what I've heard/read from many people who've installed them.

I have the Apex springs & can tell you they offer a very FIRM ride. You will sacrifice some comfort with this choice. (I set my car up for AutoX & track, so I don't mind the compromise)

Maybe ask members who have the B&G's, or search old posts on the them - I'm pretty sure the concensus was that they offered a reasonably comfortable ride.

PS: The drop on my Apex's is perfect, imho. Should be the same drop with B&G (1.6")

Why dont you just order whatever springs you want from where ever?

Exactly, Ive always heard that the B&G's were not that bad.I've heard them compared to H&R's. The apex are known for being stiff. The drop isnt that extreme either.

Apex - drop is same as B&G. Lower than H&R.

I had B&G springs for about a month. Bumps were harsh. Smooth roads you were ok, but when the road gets rough, they tossed you around. B&G's are a very stiff thick spring. They do handle very good, but ride quality suffers.

H&R's with Illuminas up front and AGX with M.V. mounts in the rear.

I've yet to find any other combo that rides as good as my setup. The only time I know I'm lowered is on NYC streets, other than that it's as smooth as silk.

Thx guys ,

the input is much appreciated. I'm gonna go with Kyb Gr2's [so i can save a bit to get 17" 2k wheels ] I'm gonna go with B&G since it cost less than apex and their drop is the same.

i'll give u guys feedback next week when all is put in
