proper skyline mod is painted on the outside. and yes, people do the reverse skyline mod, but it doesn not look as good in my opinion.

anyway, has anyone ever amber colored the white?
This is a new idea as far as i know, and i has a chance to look decent.

amber colored the white? you mean the white that signals reverse gear, the one that HAS to be white so that people know you're going in reverse???

i dont think it would be a good idea either i think that the only way is for someone to get the red clears manufactured as a whole piece, with new materials, forget the stock piece

 

no moron it's illegal period. If you have all red tails, including the reverse lights, and someone hits you from behind cause it looks like you're stopping not reversing, whos fault do you think it will be? If the reverse siganl was white you'd have anew bumper, but since it's red you have no new bumper, a ****ed up rear, and insurance premiums rising like the sun...

 

If you wanted to paint everything red, you might be able to get away with masking off a large circle on the white so when the reverse lights are on there is a large white circle. You have your foot somewhat applied to the brake most the the time while backing up anyway. It might be ok,(legal). I'm saying diameter of the circle be from top of white to bottom of white, that would probably leave less than half that section colored red. A white circle would look better than a whole white corner if everything is red. Just a thought. Or instead of a "circle" maybe an oval of white. Round out the edges of the white with red. Just typing out loud.

 

that would probably work, but instead of wasting your time doing that you might as well leave the lens clear, the way it is...
