Needless do not have separate bulbs for illumination, they are illuminated by same bulbs that gauges are, unless he has intelliglo needles (sorry if I missed something in this discussion).

Guys, thanks a lot for your input about LED bulbs and Polargs. That is the exact info I was looking for. I need no more convincing, I am ordering Polargs!
But also, like cerumo mentioned won't they melt the gauges (I do not mean literally lol), but I guess Araffio mentioned that he had this with his gauges.

NO! 97-99 do not take 194 bulbs!

However, you can fit them if you make bigger holes and solder bulbs in there. Some guys, like Araffio did this. Gains: Brighter gauges.
what the hell are you talking about? i have a 1997 gxe and i just changed them two days ago...five 194 bulbs.

I'm talking that 98-99 do have other bulbs than 194s (95-97). YES, I made a typo, I wish I could edit that post so less people would get confused....
I appologise I misled anybody and thank you guys for correcting me

How do I know - Changed mine in my 95 two weeks ago.

Now, it's gotta be a 'bulletproof' answer...

OK, I am out of this thread, I had enough adventures here, lol..
