Getting a VBmod, what do I need

Well I'm ordering a VB mode next week as my christmas gift to myself.(how sad ) Mobiltek is offering a good deal, $50 off the original price, so I'm getting my core done for $400. So what I wanted to know is do I need anything else??? I need a tranny cooler right??(any recomendations?), Should I still do that drop resistor mod??? And well my car just hit 140,000 today, so what should I do to my car?? Thanks alot, oh and why is it that we cant search any more???(do I have to donate to search now???) if so that sucks, cause a crap load of newbies like me are gonna be posting, because they cant search the forum...

First, 's need to read the faq's and little windows that pop up telling them the answers to their questions rather than pointlessly complaining about them. I'm not trying to be a jerk or have some grudge against new users, but seriously 3 of your questions could have been answered in 30 seconds and the others would have taken only minor digging.

You don't *need* a tranny cooler, but firmer shifts will make your fluid hotter, so it's up to you. You need to read about the drop resistor "mod" and understand what it does before you can ask whether you should do it or not.

Tranny cooler

New ATF

New Gasket

Get instructions, there are a lot of bolts that need to be replaced.

Enjoy the firmer shifts
