can i make my 5-speed an auto?
well i lost my glorious 5-speed tranny with a bad nitrous day at the and well while the racing the maxima is fun i would just like to do what i intended the maxima to do, win show. i have to much money invested to waste if i where to mess it up racing( plus i have my honda for that stuff anyway). well to get to my point i cant ind a 5-speed tranny to save my life but the autos are everywhere. can i just drop a auto tranny in and be done with it or do i have to let my maxima sit in my garage?

Holy wiring job Batman! The auto is computer controlled, so you would have a ton of work to do. The 5 speed is all mechanical (well other than a sensor or two) so its an easy, yet time consuming job. You are better off poping a 5 speed back in there.
