Looking good man! Please tell me the only took the door handles off not so they wouldn't get paint on them. Shaving looks stupid.

Gunmetal type wheels with a chrome lip! like what you have now..That looks best on white cars with cf hoods IMO

That's a new one to me and sounds pretty cool actually. So how do you shave an antenna? - I know what u mean by it, but where are you going to have another one?

you can keep the factory one in the inner fender or put one in the back windshield. but if u are like me and dont listen to the radio much and listen mostly to cd's then who cares about an antenna?

True, I hate all the radio stations in Chicago either way - they suck and don't play my type of music anyway.

yeah I just took mine in for painting, and am having them shave the antenna and the trunk key hole. I just had my antenna relocated to a thing that looks like a little black strip on my windshield. Reception is not as good but it still does the job. Looks like it is going to be nice. Keep modding.

Although shaved handles could look trick, most drag strips wont let you race with them for safety reasons, and from what I know, The Chariot seems to be a big fan of the drag strip.

I think the car will come out great. It's the same shop that did my car. Ceasars saw how well the paint came out with the Stillen bodykit, shaved antenna, and shaved key hole looked on mine.

20 days and counting (no hurry here) on the rims i dont know. right now i have 16 inch ssr competitions, which will prolly end up being the weak link on the exterior until i can figure something out. its going to be great to have 2 sets of rims ! next two projects are 1. cf hood, 2. lightweight battery.

i weighed all the pieces going on, and im going to weigh what came off. it will be interesting to see how much weight added, but its not going to be much. i told them to throw away the antenna but it was maybe 4 pounds but that will help, that cuts the sarona rear down to 13 pounds. lol overall the car will still be lighter with these mods since i just dropped 47 pounds off it b4 i took it in.

hey, jime said he took off his Front and rear bumper crash protection, and that it just unbolts. i wonder if i have time to do this and how much weight would it remove? and ideas ? safety issues ?

It would drop alot of weight but I wouldn't want to get in wreck w/ out them!!

I think 96BluMax posted a thread of how much everything weighed(even went as far as sunroofs), I know he was doing some serious weight reduction at one point in time.....

I think from a safety point of view, the reduced weight is NOT worth it.
