O.k., two people have asked about the Wizard. The Wizard is a cup holder you buy at Wal-Mart, Target, etc. It is about $5. It is not the best looking thing in the world but it is mega-functional!. It has many mounting options. You can pull off the legs and velcro or screw it flat (I personally don't recommend this) or you can leave the legs and use them in two ways. One, the legs go around an object and squeeze, or two (and this is the method most of us will use) you close the legs, put them in an existing opening (ex. our existing lame cupholders) and then open the legs up. Very tight, very secure.

Now the cupholder itself opens and closes with one hand operation (some aftermarket cupholders need two) and it can hold anything from an 8 oz. coffee cup, a coffee mug with handle, to a 64 oz. Big Gulp. You can also slide the actual cupholder away from its base (nice if you have an existing cupholder right up against something). It sticks every so often (perhaps if Coke gets in the moving parts) but the Wizard is easily removable and washable - but just spritz a hair of WD-40 in the track and you're golden.

The slight little catch is, I prefer the first gen from a few years ago. Your odds of finding this is 5%. The second gen was much bigger/bulkier but had a light that would light when you removed the drink. Those were only around for ~6 months. The newest ones (what I am calling the 3rd gens) look just like the 2nd gens, are only a hair smaller but do not light. And, in addition, they don't make nearly as many colors as the first gen. If I am not mistaken, they only come in black now. But looks is a matter of opinion so some may prefer the 3 gens (no difference as far as function).

What is really funny is right after this thread started, I was in my local 99 cent store and there were 4 gen ones (only in gray) and I bought them all. So I know it is a long shot but check your 99 cent only store.

I guess that's it. If you have any questions, I'll try to answer them. But just go to Wal-Mart and you'll see.

I did a quick search on the net with not many results. Here is a quick and dirty link so you guys can see a pic. (this is a grey gen. 1).

See post in the 4th Gen Mod FAQs about console swapping from the 97+ into the 95-96.
