HID Lifespan?
HID Lifespan?
Okay so the other morning I notice one of my HIDs dont come on. Today I had time to diagnose it. So about 30 min and 1 fuse later, I find out that one of the Starters has seemed to stop functioning. The 2 bulbs, 2 ballast, and everything else seemed to work. I'm guess HIDs would usually have a longer lifespan more than anything else since it more effiencient. My question is, has anyone elses HIDs just seem to crap out on them? What would be probable causes of having these go bad? (Ive gone through 2 sets of HIDs so far prior to these, both I've sold) I've had this set for about less than a year but Im not sure if I had them past my warranty. I got them from Redlinemax/Ange and theres a 9 mo warranty on these. So I guess I'll have to email her bout it.
On a side note, since Im not gonna have HIDs for a while, whats the best Halogens out on the market?

its not the technology it the producers that are killing the lifespan. If you buy the stuff made by Hella or Phillips that’s made in Germany you will have no problems (I had a ballast soaked in water and it still worked after i cleaned it up) The "other" kits made is Asia are far less reliable, but im sure Ange will hook you up.
