Alright, It could just be that im noticing it now, but after acclerating my rpms drop to 500 then bounce back up to 1000. If this isnt supposed to be happening whats causing it?

clean throttle body, make sure your engine coolant temperature sensor is working properly. is your MAF sensor plugged in? air filter clean?

if his MAF sensor wasn't plugged in, his car would die. Check your TB....

Thanx for the help, ill take a look at the tb and filter this weekend.
It is a automatic
G20Flyer: after I acclerate the rpms will fall from like 3000 all the way to 500 then go up to 1000

also, it hasnt been starting on the first try lately, could this be another sympton of whats causing the rpms?

because I believe it has something to do with the idling circuit bumping the rpms back up when it senses it drop after a neutral rev,

Well, mine doesnt jump back to 1000rpm like he says but after a quick rev in neutral, it dips down and jumps back to idle speed....maybe my lightweight flywheel has something to do with it... oh well
