flip flop trunks - worth it?

does anyone own the flip flop trunk adapter? (the arms on the trunk that allows the trunk to open parrallel to the ground instead of a 45degree angle...it's pimp!)

i was just wondering if the fitment is good. and if rain leaks much when you open it.

it like 15 bux on ebay, and looks like a very kool mod, i just want some reassurance that i wont be ruining the trunk.

just to let you know its 2 hinges and some screws. the guys that have done it know more, but its very simple. screw hinges to trunk and supports, remove stock trunk bolts, watch trunk flip flop. I think the Ebay hinges are junk, and you are better off going to the hardware store yourself. Also you need to put the stock bolts back in to keep the trunk shut tight. There was a write up on VQpower.com from thebigsadler, he also used bolt door locks to keep it level.
