i went through 3 cars during my jr. and sr. years of high school - first i had a 1989 escort lx, then i picked up a 1982 trans am with a 350/4bbl - looked like crap but moved out, then when i graduated, i was rocking a 1988 honda accord lx-i that was in mint condition. the chicks liked it because it had a HUGE sunroof in it, and we would cruise around and the girls would hang out the top of the sunroof. i was a pimp back in the day... now i'm just an old fart!

I had a 86 mustang with a 4cyl, i was planning on converting it to a 5.0L FI with mass air. Its a rather easy conversion. The 5.0L was being built at my cousins house in NE philly and the **** hit the fan. Needless to say the car was worthless after the hopes of the conversion fell through.

Ahhh 5.0L with tremec superduty........what a car eh...I wish..

Moms 82 Chevy Chevette, four door hatchback. Four on the floor, rear wheel drive and about 70hp to boot. If you rode the clutch just right, it could make those 13 inch wheels scream. I graduated back in 84. My first car was a 74 Plymouth Satilite, 2 door with 318 engine. A fake Road Runner. Not much horse power because of the start of emission controls, but fun to drive. No posi traction, so I could only lay out one line.

You young guys got it made. Going to school with those nice cars.

Drove a 95 Sentra GXE with a GA16 and Auto tranny. Graduated in 97. Had that car when I met my wife. She misses it more than me I think. We'll just say there were some memories in that car, and no our daoughter who is 3 weeks old now isn't one of em.

I had a 86 subaru station wagon. I loved that car! It was extremely fun to drive and never failed me. We all called it the "Lawnmower" because it sounded just like one.

I never bothered taking pictures of my ride in H.S. (17 years ago). I had a '77 Toyota Celica, 4-speed. It was totally just for getting to and from school, I didn't even want to be seen cruisin' in it. However, after graduation, my parents got me a brand new '88 IROC-Z - 5speed. That thing didn't hold up very well, so I got rid of it after the first year of owning it.

I guess that tells you I'm not to good at photoshopping. Why are the lines jagged in the reflection? BTW, I'm using Adobe.

Is that a 35mm film picture, or is it a picture that you tried to alter in photoshop?

I had a Diamond Back Ascent 21 Speed with Bramha Bars and some Onzo Porcupine tires. It had a sweet Sony Walkman Cassette only as it's sound system.

I graduated in 1993. And we had no Senior Car pictures in our yearbook.

Had an '83 Buick Regal, unfortunately, with the anemic V6. In fact, I rocked the weak/pathetic cars until after college graduation. Including: the '83 Regal, an '89 Tempo (garbage!), and an '89 Daytona (also garbage!).

Do you guys realize, we have spent 5 pages answering a question SMX never even asked?? We are answering the question as if it were:
'What car did you have in HighSchool?'

However, his questions were:
"But If you did have a senior car photo back in your highschool year what car did you have? or what did you want to have as a Senior? :

lol

Wish I had a digital camera when this little sucker burst into flames on me while I was driving home Thanksgiving Day 1997 on I-4. It's no wonder they called it a "Fiero".

(Did you know those emergency call boxes don't have phones? Just three buttons... a blue one for police, a white one for ambulances, and a red one for fire trucks... and they don't come fast...)

XD5 H3 55w - 5800K from ebay, please make sure u buy 2 so u can save on shipping, cuz i blew all 4 bulbs in like 4 months. right now i got the HID and stock fogs, there so damn yellow and ugly compared to the XD5, from far people think i had HID in the fogs when i drive with them only at night. The color is the best i've seen before. they actually make the housings show like they have a little blue in them, not like all the other superwhite H3s that u put in there.

hope this helps,
MAXecutive

Just dug these out of a shoebox - My ol 1984 300ZX Turbo - Had a custom CAI that pulled air through the bumber (the filter is right in between the lights), custom 2.5" cat back straight pipe with a dual resonated tip, 1.5" drop on Eibach's. I'm pretty sure this also had a screwed up blow off valve kept the boost too high or something because this thing flew, it never ever lost a race. No Mustang could hang - 90 Modded-up Stang 5.0 with a 50 shot, not even close, 91 Supra Turbo with a boost controller, chip, and all the goodies - smoked him by 3 car lengths at 100 mph 3 TIMES! No sh*t! Oh ya, and did I mention it only had 190,000 miles? This is the car that sold me on Nissan, is there anything else?

My highschool ride, a '79 280zx:

It was a sweet ride...until it had an intimate encounter with a telephone pole. I had big plans for it too. The thing only had ~80k on it, I had it lowered and had swastika rims on the way with new rubber when I wrecked it. It was a sad day.

1978 Olds Cutlass 2 Door and happy to have anything. These were more Grandma than muscle but it had a 350 4 barrel so it moved well enough and I put a decent stereo in it.

My best memory in it was when I blew a tire and had to put a bald spare one of the rears for a couple days. Leaving school one day I went to do a quick (and i mean *quick* - catholic school) brake stand before pulling out. Well that bald rear spun like I was on solid ice as I laid on the gas relentlessly and before you could say "confession" the entire parking lot was Smoked Out!
*GOOD TIMES*

lol i had a 1986 isuzu trooper... o man memories in that. i went through more mud and crap in that car. lol it had stock a 2.3 4cyl w/ 96hp!!!! not even 100hp lol but with the 5sp and being so light. i could go through so much mud. but it ended up i replaced almost everything in the entire car, way to much money but man it still cant replace pulling out the v6 jeeps in the mud cuz my little 4 cyl got farther than they did. but i got mud in places it should go in that car...example- blower motor housing....haha o man i put so much work into that car. but in the fall of my senior yr (2003) i got my 96 gle (auto) and am modding away, but i do miss shifting. the memories of high school
