KS replacement results..
how come my car was redicously fact the first day i put in the KS, then it just got slower from there and now...my acceleration and power delivery feels like it is back to the way it was before with the bad knock sensor...but this KS is fine...it tests fine and i get not cel when i try to pull it off the ecu...!>! should i loosen the bolt on the KS or tighten it more or somethin? did my car re learn some knock? i always have used premium gas...what gives? maybe i should just try resetting the ecu....that always gives me the gain back for like a day which is weird!
Was the one you replaced busted for sure? I'd say injectors are going bad. Have the exact same problem, new KS but car is still slugish. Just check the injectors you can get to, front 3 and 1 or 2 in the back. Use a screwdriver and put the metal tip to the injector and the other end to your ear. It should be clicking very fast, if not it's going bad.
check for ghost 0304s. sometimes CEL won't pop out until you pull the code manually, it'll show. after that try to reset it and drive it around and then pull the code manually see if it's back. if it does, make sure you torque your knock sensor correctly, 15-20lbs i believe.
if none of these apply, probably just like cullenj76 said ur not gettin used to it yet.

yeah i think i torqued it wrong...but i don't know fer sher...my injectors are clicking very fast! however, I have no codes, but i will try resetting my ecu anyway...because everytime i do that...my car seems faster for a day or two...! not just in my mind either! i do tests such as a first gear from 3000 roll, then floor it....my 235's spin when i reset my ecu all the way through first, but now they grip in first....i might try relocatting my knock sensor, cause i heard that might work from other members on the org here.....detecting false knock is the issue, so they relocate it where there is less engine vibration...

no codes no matter what i do....i have pulled it so many times....i dunno, maybe i am getting used to it...but according to my "well-calibrated" butt dyno, im not...it just pulled really hard the first day after I replaced the KS....i mean spinning from a roll in 1st at 3000rpm then floor it, spin all the way through first on grippy 235/45/zr17's mind you and now my car grips in first gear meaning there isn't enough power to break 'em loose anymore! I haven't tried resetting the ecu yet though....usually when I do that my power comes back for a day...so it couldn't be my injectors as stated above...
