4x4 Skyline

Will a skyline body kit hit the ground if I lower my car? If so do I have to leave my max looking like a 4x4. What springs should I use with the skyline kit?

I say maybe 1.5 in the front and 1.3 in the rear.

Uhm, well it won't be touching the ground just sitting there parked, obviously.. but if you drive over a speed bump/curb/driveway entrance too fast then yes, you'll probably leave piece of the kit on the ground. For a 1.5" /1.3" drop, the closest would probably be H&Rs

that isnt that low. i really think the skyline kit would clear that, but like with most lowering jobs you would scrap on certain driveways and such. a little lowering ties the entire look together.

The Tokico springs have a drop of 1.5" in the front and 1.3" in the rear. They have a spring rate of Front: 111 225 lb/in and Rear: 148 295 lb/in which probably puts them around the same stiffness as H&R. Tokico Springs are new and not much is known about them yet. They should be paired with Koni Yellows, KYB AGX, Tokico Illuminas, KYB GR2, or possibly Tokico Blues.

The H&R Sport springs have a 1.4" front 1.3" rear drop and are known to be the softest aftermarket spring for the 4th Generation Maxima. They are definately stiffer than stock SE springs, especially at their bottom limit due to the progressiveness of the spring but out of all the setups, probably the softest and most comfort oriented. They should be paired with Koni Yellows, KYB AGX, Tokico Illuminas, KYB GR2, or possibly Tokico Blues.

*edit* btw, i got this off of
