Been looking all over the web, but I can't seem to find anything about Skyline in the US other than the place out in Cali. I'de like to get into an R32, but I don't wanna fly out west to see / test drive one. Is there anything in the N.E.? Not dealership wize, but how about a club, or post of buy/sell for the skyline?

there is a company in Lynbrook NY, they are the only certified company on East coast to do a leagl conversion on Skyline, not sure if they actually carry any themselves.
Friend's friend has one in Queens NY, but not street legal show car only.

WoodEar,
Can you get some more info from your friend about the location of this place in NY and if they know where to get a skyline, other than out in California. If you could get me some contact info on this place in NY, that might be best. I can get in touch with them and stop buggin eveyone here about it.

Thanks

I don't know anyone that bought from the Lynbrook company. He imported his own R33 from Japan, the Lynbrook company does conversion only, I doubt they have inventory for sale, but I will see if they know the exact name or not.
Another friend's R34 V-spec, is on a boat heading to US right now.

If you are really interested and don't have to buy one that's already converted, my friend can get you any car you want in Japan, R34, Lancer, NSX type zero etc... A very low mile R34 V-spec goes ~$40k, then you pay the shipping, and you pay the conversion(or you save moeny on that by applying show car lesson). Then you can go pimping

just for the record, if you ever get pulled over in a car like that in NY, the cop will be MIGHTY PISSED when he walks up to the wrong window.

That's good enough for me!!!

40k for an R34 Vsped sounds Killer!!! I'm acutally looking to get an R32. What can you tell me about that? I'm seen some modded preowned ones in the UK for about 22k. I'm looking for the lighter of all the R's and then dong some major body work on it to make it quite an original. Any info will be of great help. Thanks

Why don't you just wait a few years? Aren't the skylines going to be made for US release within the next three years? Or is that just a rumor?
