Changing 9004 to H4?
I have heard that H4 bulbs are brighter by a long shot, is this true?? And alsi i have heard of H4's fitting in 9004 all that is needed is to break off or bent one of the line up tabs on the bulb.. this possible or worth it?? And if not worth it what brand of piaa bulbs rule and that are legal.. another words not blue but more of a purple color.. I heard the piaa's that are chrome half the bulb and the other is a light blue work great.. And also the Platinum series PIAA Super White 65/45w is a waste of money for brightness.. PIAA 9004 XtremeWhite Bulbs - 4000K is also another idea.. i don't think i can get away with anything higher than a 4000k bulb.. let me know what you think!!!!!!!!!

1)The fillament in H4 bulbs is not in the correct position for 9004 housings. Your beam pattern will be distorted.
2) A 55Watt bulb is a 55Watt bulb no matter what it's design is. In other words a 55W H4 puts out the same light as a 55W 9004. Only the bulb configuration and light direction change.
