Changing Alternator Belts

What's up everyone, this is my first post. I am trying to change the two serpentine alternator belts on my '95 Maxima. The belts are so close to the wheel well and I can't decide whether to tackle this job from the top or bottom of the car. Does anyone know the easiest way to do this and the tools that I'll need to make it easier....thanks again
