J30 Maf

Probably somewhat the same idea as using the 300ZX (Z32) MAF But then again I wouldn't think one quite as good would be put on the J30 as compared to the 300ZX...

really? my mechanic's a pretty smart guy, and owns part of a performance shop. not saying he's never wrong, but i thought he may be on to something here. he said that the j30 MAF sensor will double the air allowed in, or something like that. i was kinda messed up (read username) when he was telling me this...so my memory aint so great. thanks though!

I don't see why you would do this unless you were boosted with larger-than-stock injectors. According to stephan max's findings, the Z32 MAF (aka J30 MAF) reports 49% less air than the stock MAF, but the ID (internal diameter) is the same at 72-73 MM so it wouldn't let any more air in. You would be running INCREDIBLY lean.
And the Z32 MAF will work with the stock A32 ECU, just FYI. There's a thread in the Boosted forum about this...
