Had a scare today
I ran some errands today, and when I returned home, I found a puddle of oil under my car, after sitting there for only 10 minutes! I got under the car to see what was happening and there was oil all over the undercarraige. I was ****ed because I was getting my new rims installed today, and didn't need another hassle. I took the car to my mechanic, and was scared to know how much the repair would be. To my dismay, it was the oil pressure sending unit. Total cost: $60 including labor.
Thank god! I got my new rims installed, so the day ended on a good note.

I am not stalking you Maxima95Tuner. I will get the pics up asap. However, the rims are just 15's. The car came with really great bfg's, and they were almost new. However, the rims on the car were gold and silver! They looked like ****, now the car looks pimp. Give me a couple days to wash/wax it, then I will post pics. Later

[(Messed up parts: Oil-soaked clutch, oil-soaked flywheel, bad oil pan gaskets, bad cam plug, bad rear main seal, cracking rear motor mount, screwed up 1-2 synchro assembly, bad transmission mount and a slew of other internal transmission problems.)
Total cost, including labor: $2600
(Yes, I did get ripped off, but the place I had the stuff done with offers the same warranty as factory, does really good work, and it was still hundreds less than the dealer estimate. Even if I knew how to do everything myself, it would still cost me at least 15 hours of my time, and $1000 for parts)]
Hey GraniteMaxSE, I don't think you got that ripped off. I bought my car knowing the transmission needed to be rebuilt. After taking it apart, my mechanic found that it needed new syncros, seals, and bearings, and a new clutch. That work was to be around $1500. After examining the car with everything off, he noticed the rear main seal was leaking slightly. If I waited to replace it, and it failed, it would take out the clutch, and possible damage the flywheel but slewing oil over them. In turn, those parts would not be covered under the warranty since the clutch/flywheel didn't fail by themselves.
Therefore it was a no-brainer to replace the seal to save future repairs and unnecessary costs. So I had him replace the rear main seal. What sucks about replacing it is that the oil pan needs to be removed, because it blocks part of the seal. You cannot just bend it out of the way because nissan (in its glorious effort of over-enginnering) made the pan out of forged aluminum instead of just regular aluminum. To remove the oil pan, you have to remove a crossmember, the air cond. compressor, the alternator, and some other parts. Long story short, its labor intensive. So my total bill was $2000. Anyway, your $2600 is more than mine, but they may have replaced more parts.
