Squeaking/whistling noise from brakes or axles...

Today was the first day in a long time I could drive with my windows down. I had just filled up on 92 octane, and as I was pulling into the parking lot of my apartment, I heard a weird squeaking sound. At first, I thought it was the brakes, but it sounds different than a typical set of squeaky brakes. The sound got louder as I accelerated, and softened as I came to a stop. I heard nothing while idling. I can describe it as a whistle, as if air is flowing through something. Other than that, that's all I can say. Any thoughts? Thanks

I am overdue for an oil change by about a month. It hasn't been 3,000 miles yet, more like 2,600. I don't know if that makes a difference.

check all hoses for connections or leaks? Mine made a whistle / whinning noise and it ended up being my alternator.

Got it fixed uner the recall.
