Why is my airbag idiot light flashing?
I just had a new battery and terminals installed at Strauss Auto and now, my airbag light is flashing. I have had my Max for 3 1/2 years and have never seen this light flash. Would the changing of the battery or terminals have an effect on this? What exactly does this mean? Is the car safe to drive? Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

Check the FAQ thread, I believe there is a procedure in there to reset it.
The flashing light is indicating a fault with the system. It's safe to drive but your SRS system might be disabled.
Good luck, I hope they didn't screw anything up.

My parents had the car when the battery went, otherwise it would have never gone near Strauss.
