whats a fair price for 99gxe
whats a fair price for 99gxe
with 50k mi......this may sound nuts, but i'm planning to get my 3rd maxima. I already owned an 02se auto and a 97gxe. The 97gxe seems to be on its last legs with 177k and our family needs at least 2 cars, so i wanna get rid of it soon. We just bought a house so we really can't afford a new car. Wonder what prices you guys think i should pay. I've checked edmunds tmv but the dealer pricing is like 2-3k above tradein, i'm thinking if i offer 1k above the tradein price to a dealer, would that still be reasonable. thx.
specs? 5 speed? What numbers have you come up with so far? bone stock? condition? clean title? etc. etc.
Asking how much with just a car and mileage can vary thousands of dollars depending on features, condition, etc. etc. etc.

it's an auto gxe, am/fm cassette, keyless entry, power driver seats, air con. I haven't check the condition yet, but assume it's excellent-good, mechanically and exterior/interior and clean title.
What are they asking for it? Our dealers advertise 11-13K, 13K for 50K miles, less money for higher miles-but those prices are high because there are few used Maximas. I bet they sell cheap at auction (5 years old) and with the depressed used car economy, I doubt the dealer bought the trade in for much. I wouldn't worry about being fair to the dealer. Start low and work your way up slowly. Although the local area that you are in, may have higher prices.
