Coming off the highway today, CEL comes on. I pulled the codes and they were 0510 and 0512, both of which don't exist. I double-checked the count to make sure they were correct as well. So I clear the codes, start the engine, and voila! the CEL came on again. Pulled the code again, and now it's 0505. Cleared it, started again, CEL comes on, 0505 again. What the heck is going on here?

Easy...change out your rear o2 sensor.

It is the sensor that is connected to your exhaust right after your cat or on your cat depending on what year your car is.
