installing EL Glow guages.

first let me say that this is the worst ****ing installation i have ever gone through, getting thoes stupid guages to stay in the right place without making the needles stick is impossible, and not to mention that the instructions for installing them are horrible.

anyways. I finally got everything in, and now i have to connect the red and black wires to the headlight power supply? where is that? how do i tap them into the headlight power supply? thanks.

gauges.

You can hook up the ground to the black wires on the very back. You'll see a big thick ground wire. The positive wire, you can hook that up to the light adjusting switch, i don't know what it's called exactly. The little scroll switch that dims the lights on the gauges, clock, and other lights in the car. There should be small wires that connects to that switch when you first take out the gauges. There are 3 wires and you hook it up to the red one on the outside. I think mine was Red/Blue (99maxima). i have to take mine out this weekend because the gauges are sticking. goodluck
