well i knocked out the old ones with a hammer and i was trying to put in a new one using a large washer and using the lug nut to make it tight then tryied to hit it in with a hammer but it keeps going in at an angle whats an easy way to do this!
Impact wrench all the way. Thats how I do mine. If you don't have airtools you need to hit it back into place from the back side with the same hammer. It is difficult because it likes to make itself go in at an angle but it can be done. Also, its much easier if you have removed your dustshields.
yeah i don't have an air tool and a shop told me 25 bucks for 2 don't know if i should try with my hammer or just pay?

try to do it yourself. If you find that you can't, then take it to a shop. If it's something simple like wheel studs, you should always try it yourself first, easy way to save money and gain some knowledge.

Here is a thread that might help you:

You don't have to take off the heatshields. You just have to line up the one that you want to put in with the little hole in the heat shield.
I would just put your wheel back on and begin to tighten it down. Then, it will snug up and grip into the correct slot. I took my wheel back off after I did this to make sure, but then it was good and I just put it back on and I was good to go.
Hope this helps.
