1998 maxima experts...please read
hello, today is my first day on the board.
i got a few questions, i plan on buying a 1998 GLE this week.
first of all...
its has 57k miles on it, i think thats great for the miles, because the average of people driving on there car is like 12k to 15k a year, and this is only 9.5k a year. the car is $9,600 but my family knows the dealership so im thinkin i might be able to get them down to atleast $8,800
secondly, it has the rims, i dont know how to describe them, but they are not the 5 star ones and not really in good condition, and i really like the 5 star ones, but i was wondering if there is a place or a catalog from nissan where i would be able to get the stock ones that are the 5 star, or even the sames ones that are in brand new condition. how much do these cost approx?
thirldy, it doesn't have a spoiler, and i just think it needs a spoiler, how much do spoilers including installation cost?
and lastly, the console has a little tear in it in the leather, and i was wondering how i would be able to fix. get it upholstered (sp?), and how much does that approx cost?
thank you for help...

Maximas are great cars and for the most part very reliable..so good luck with your purchasing

The rims your car should have are affectionaly refered to as "sawblades" and should be 15 inch. In the tires and rims section of the .org you may find someone dumping their 16 inch 5spokes for a decent deal.
Car sounds nice, and if you can get for 9K that's a decent deal.
