are there knock off cold-air injen intakes on ebay?

I'm a noobie too, but I have read the majority of the posts here and I'd have to say probably 80% of the people here are gonna tell you to just modify your factory air box. You will read that the modified air box & the CAI intakes are the way to go if your car is an automatic. If you vehicle is a stick shift then you gonna soon find out that either a JWT pop charger, Stillen or frankencar intake is the prefered setup. CAI or modified air box for auto's because it help's out with the low end lag of the auto. JWT, Stillen or frankencar for stick shift because of less resistance at higher rpm's. Sticks shift's don't have to worry much about low end power because they can launch at whatever RPM they desire. So I hope that kinda helps with you decision.
I have seen the Injen clone on ebay. I can't remember the company that provides it, but it's the only one where the intake piping is kind of a greyish color. I'm sure they come in what ever color, but the advertisiment has a grey one pictured. I just seen it last night on ebay. Search (maxima cold air intake) and I'm sure you will be able to find it. Another thing is the air filter looks pretty bad. It doesn't look too great. One last thing I'm sure most of the other intakes will say some modification required for installation. The clone will not say this? Good luck, hopefully someone will see your post & be able to point you in a little bit straighter of a line?

This is the Injen knockoff. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...474317784&rd=1
This is the Place Racing knockoff http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...474022759&rd=1
I have both and I like the PR one better. Don't worry about cutting a hole its hardly even visible after you remove the intake.
My preference is the PR in hybrid configuration. So you don't even have to cut for that mode.
Like nostrixoxide said the filter is junk but filters are cheap and overall the price is great. Also they are made from aluminum vs steel for PR (not sure about the Injen) so they are lighter as well.

the injen seems to be made of stainless steel i did the hybrid setup and it was nice, and now i have the injen knockoff and i like the midrange power i get with the injen the most out of all the intake setups i've tried which include the hybrid, a pop charger, and the injen

i dont think the filter will make that much of a difference. on a side note i drove with my injen knock off today and it was like 85+ degrees, well lets just say, it feels to me, just like my hybrid did. feels like theres less power (obviously) but the midrange feels better to me than it did with the hybrid

which they probably dont. the injen clones looks like an injen, the other doesnt. its that simple but if u still dont see it, look for two pipes, both curved, one with one small outlet, and two larger outlets. the second pipe will have like a mounting bracket and a bend in it, that is the injen
