Tranny Swap

Okay, so the new tranny is here... I just need to know what else I may possibly need for the swap? I won't need to get special gaskets or anything for the starter, etc, Will I?

I'm swapping a blown 97SE 5spd 140k mile tranny with a 99SE LSD 5spd with 32k miles on it (and one hell of a warranty.)

Okay, so reading the FAQ I know HOW to replace it... but it still doesn't tell me what can or cannot be switched from tranny to tranny. I guess I'll find out in the process.

You might want to get new axle seals. You can change them with the tranny in, but it's much easier to do it with the tranny off the vehicle.

Are you replacing the clutch? Now's the time to do it!
