Hello all,

I have 99 SE that recently did a 60K tune-up including manually cleaning the TB myself. Now I have a couple of other issues I'm hoping you guys can help me with:

1> Loud start issue: every morning when I start my car, it starts with a loud rough and then quiets down. Usually it will only do it that initial time everyday. Also, some days the car runs well and smooth and others days as do it had no torque. Not sure what this could be? Knock-sensor maybe? I used to own a 97 SE and that engine started and ran like butter all day long, but this 99 SE varies day by day. I thought for sure that the 60K tune-up would cure it, but it didn't. It still starts up like an 85 RX7..lol.

2> Tranny issue: I recently tightened up my throttle cable because it had a good amount of slack in it. Initially, I over tightened it so I went back and loosed it up a bit. Now I have this wierd transmission thing that right between 50mph and 60mph if I let the accelerator go and then press it again it does this "clunk". Sometimes it even does when initially taking off and then slowing down. Is my tranny toast? I have since re-adjusted the throttle cable back to where it was and the problem still presists. FYI - I did do a tranny flush at 60K.
