Smell From Vents

I am getting a musty smell from my vents when the A/C is turned on. I remember something about spraying lysol somewhere. It's been a while since I have been on these forums. Even forgot my username!

I also hit 80k. What kind of maintenance should be done?

you must have mold in your a/c. You need to empty a cap of lysol or something into the a/c to get that crap out. But don't take my word for it, look in the FAQs on how to get rid of this.

It's the grate just in front of the driver's side of the front windshield, underneath the wiper. Keep in mind the lysol trick doesn't always work. Is it just musty or "vinegary"? I had to get in there and physically clean the intake duct and "evaporator?" to get that nasty smell to finally go away. Rotting crap from an overhead tree did the damage.
