DO u need to take out the whole center console? by the hand brake and all? or is there an easier way?

No. Shifter trim, center vents, then unscrew everything to take out the part with the HU.

is there any website that shows a EX. of how to remove this? i ended up taking the who arm rest off..and the radio was bolted in so tite i couldnt get it out. and then i didnt put the peices back 2gether right b/c now there are some gaps
