Personally, I would not trade my Max for alot of NEW cars out there. Whats the cheapest ($ wise) car that you would trade for your darlin Maxima?

(I have to say that I would go with the Subaru Sti myself. But- the max is definately not stock anymore! If it was stock I might go cheaper)

 

I love my Max... if I had the money I'd probably just mod my it even more...

If not I'd get a 5.5 Gen... 6 speed...

STi's are nice but they have their share of tranny problems.. not that our cars dont but I've beat the crap out of my car in the past 2 years I've had it and racked up almost 50000 miles on it and it hasnt given me a problem yet so I'll just cross my fingers and keep her till her wheels fall off

i agree with you guys theres not many cars i would trade mine for i just love the way it drives, just something about it. but definately a newer maxima, STI or a skyline, man i love those.

 

I love my Max also, but if I could get a 96 300zx Twin Turbo, 350Z, or infinity G35 coupe or sedan I would trade her in. I just hope my Max doesnt read this

 

Well the only 2 cars that I would probably trade my maxima in for is an evo 8 or 99 skyline but I don't see that happening too soon.

 

I want an BMW M3 <----- someday 0-60 mph 4.8 sec paddle shifters

 

I want a bmw M5, which IS faster then BMW M3 ...AND its a sedan

As for the loving...i love my max <_______________> x200 this much, but some old lady SMAKED me on the parking lot the other day and almost drove away, so now I gotta fix my bebe up

Would not trade my Max for almost anything.

If one day I woke up and my Baby wasn't sitting in the driveway, the only 2 cars I would want to see in its place would be a G35 coupe, or a Hummer. Maybe a Lambo, haha.

I agree, i love my max more than most new cars out there. Any other car would just feel like a rental. My car has never let me down.

Honestly, after buying my maxima, I don't think I'll buy any other type of car. Unless it's a cady, I will always have love for those boats. But god I love my car. If I had money for a new car, I'd either make mine better, or buy a newer max.

Realistically I'd be happy in a S13 or S14 Kouki 240sx or 5th gen Prelude (the cars I was originally going to get)...or mb even a DC teg GS-R but I still have love for the Max

 

I love my maxima alot. I always wanted a 99 SE-L but there are prolly more of those maximas then mine with all the options I have so im really happy with what I got even tho its not SE-L. I would be sporting a G35 coupe if i had to leave her.

Or just go back to my 90 SE 5-spd.

I love the maxima alot but i will not be buying another one unless they make some major changes in the body style.

EDIT: I re-read the starting post of this thread. . .the cheapest car I would trade my Maxima for would be an SRT4.

 

The cheapest new car I would probably trade my Max on would be a 2005 Maxima. I mean, those things are sweet. I would have to get a 6spd, of course, but it would be tons of fun.

Other than that, I would go with more luxury stuff like:
1. 2004+ Acura TL (Smoke or black)....too hot!
2. 2004+ Infiniti G35 Sedan(luxury remember)...silver, black, or Smoke.
3. BMW 745IL.....Silver or black. Soooo hot!

 

I would not trade in my maxima. Someone would have to offer me an insane amount for it, for me to sell it.

 

iv only had my max for one year and there are not many cars i would trade my car in for. originally i had to choose between the max and a 99-00 lexus GS. i chose the maxima cuz it would be more fun for about half the cost. im glad i made the choice but if i HAD to trade than it would have to be for the GS, a lifted F150(or 250), or a 02 TL type S

 

I would buy a 240, 350 or g35 in the future. But I will always have my maxima.

The only thing I would trade my Maxima for is a R34 Skyline, period. That would be heaven on earth!!

Wow, I'm different from you guys. I like my Max, dont get me wrong, but I would trade it for a whole bunch of cars. The cheapest would probably be a 1998-2002 Camaro SS, or a 1997-1999 Eclipse GSX.

 

I know the Eclipse, but I just don't know if I would want one over a Maxima.....unless all I did is race. For me, there are a lot more factors.

 

Dream car r33, rb motor is awesome. But I doubt I would get that car. Too expensive. Use the same money for the 350 or g35 and that would be enough to do whatever to those cars.

 

Actually the only 3 cars id rather have than my car (most likely in the future, one of them will be my 2nd car) are:

1) Treeee fitttyy Z
2) 1997+ Lexus SC300
3) 1993+ Nissan 300zx TT

The Lexus most likely will become my project car in a couple years once my loan is done on the max, then the max will become my daily driver. Gotta love the 2JZ motor and the Lexus luxury.

 

I also like my max so much that I won't let a reckless sister drive it, only to abuse it

3) G35 Coupe (no sedan)
4) WRX STI
5) E46 330CI and M3 (preferably M3)
6) S2000
7) 2004 TL
and the list goes on and on

I do love the Maxima a lot (it's my 2 one) but a G35 coupe of an M3 would look awesome in the driveway instead
