PM or go to Aaron92SE's website. I would go for a 2600 or 2800 stall TQ. It should help your 60' alot.

i'm doing a research of all avaliable options because i'm upgrading my car and a turbo is on the list can't decide if custom or a kit but since i already screw up buying those pos kyb agx i don't want to waste my money on useless crap so since a 5 spd swap is out of question right now my other option is to modify my auto to withstand the abuse

I have a protorque converter along with a bullet proof tranny that just got doen from maximumtuning. The converter is nice but your gas mileage will drop, say %15 - %20 depending on the stall. It is nice to have and pulls much harder offf the line. Will go to the track soon to do a comparison of the two.

1. price is $475, but i got it for less since i got the bulletproofing done. It usually costs about 4350 for the install. Your looknig at about $900

2. Tach stall was raised from 2200 to 2750

3. a whole lot. evreything from wider clutch bands, high energy frisction clutches to welded pins and drileld holes.

4. valve body mod is a shift kit. it will make your tranny shift super quick

5. Nitrous and the other goodies. The 14.2 was on a slipping tranny without torque converter

i have protorque, got it used for $200, i think they run for around $300 w/ swap. My stall is 2800.Never took it to track but i need better tires to grip so i can get the full effect from the TC. check www.protorque.com . I know the TC helps out the 60' times so 1/4 mile times will be better.

It's the point at which your car starts to creap with your breaks on and your foot on the gas.

how much brake pressure are we talking? just enough to stop the car from moving at idle, or full brakes? what is the stock TC stall rating?
