You'll have to get a line level converter and then splice into the rear speaker wires - and as far as how they sound..it's more dependent on the type of sub and such as far as sound quality but for the most part they sound alright.

It's pretty much the same as adding a subwoofer to any other car with stock stereo.
The only problem is the signal is pretty weak. To be honest, I'm not sure how my mobile electronics shop made it work, I was ready to hear the car while dude was explaining it to me.
I have a JLw6 in a JL enclosure, powered by a d class MTX amp. I have to pop the trunk to prove it is only (1) 10" sub. It's inbetween 1-2 JL W3's as far as SPL and awesome SQ.
And a remote for the amp is a MUST if you are wiring into factory system.
