Installed Ypipe (sorta)

So I got my budget Ypipe in today and I took it to my buddies to have him install it with me. It took a while to get the old one off but we had trouble getting the new one to line up with the holes... Pretty much connecting to the front header was the pain. One hole didnt match up so we needed to drill it . So after we got it all tightend up there was a little space were the ypipe and front header connect. He tried to get it as tight as possible but it didnt go any further. Wish we had airtools So now when I drive I get this annoying sputtering sound when I give it gas I think I might take it to a shop and have them fix it up from there or something.

Yep...sputtering sound is an exhaust leak. Sucks you couldn't get it on all the way. Did you try connecting both ends at the same time or did you bolt the rear flange on then try to put the front on?
